Glass and steel, steel and glass. 2 photos.
3 photos from Japan. Two from Kawaguchiko, a resort town underneath Mt. Fuji, and one from the Kenroku-en (garden) in Kanazawa.
These photos are gathered from very different sources. The first two are from the north east neighborhoods of Ikebukuro in Tokyo, and the third is from a quiet, but massive cemetery in Koyasan, Japan.
I accidentally encountered a water festival in Kibune, Japan. 3 photos.
The Noto Peninsula is on the western coast of Japan, in Ishikawa Prefecture. These photos are from a recent visit.
Tokyo is a sea of infrastructure: steel, concrete, glass, asphalt, tile, stucco. Often the structures of and features of buildings are exposed to the outdoors. Because of this exposure, they can take on a gritty texture.
These photos were taken when I was looking at how the light in Tokyo bounces off of buildings and illuminates the ground in surprising ways.
